■□Yugo Onsen□■
Yugo Onsen is one of the “Mimasaka Three Hot Springs” in Okayama Prefecture, renowned as the premier hot spring resort in the Chugoku region.
Legend has it that in the Heian period, the Tendai Buddhist monk Jikaku Daishi was led here by a white heron, which is why it is also known as “Sagi-no-Yu” (Heron Hot Spring).
It is also popular among women for its skin-beautifying properties.
Please enjoy Yugo Onsen in the spacious public baths “Daikei” and “Asakei”—among the largest in the prefecture—as well as in our open-air baths.
