"Tomoe" means a Japanese traditional pattern shaping like whirlpool. So perhaps the spiral staircase in front of the room was the inspiration for the first manager Tashiro Kubo when he named this room "Tomoe". The room seems like a separate space because of the stairs. You can have a quiet room, enjoy your own time.
