Yugetsu-tei, 8 Tatami — Closest to the River
A ground-floor room in the wing that sits closest to the Takigawa, the river that runs through our grounds. Much of Yugetsusanso faces the hillside; this wing faces the water and is on the brighter side. It is about 7 steps from the entrance to the room — among the fewest in the building.
The tatami room itself is eight mats, but the entrance area is unusually generous, bringing the room to about 32 m². The fittings differ from our other rooms, and it is one of the most requested. Please note that with four guests, the room will feel quite tight. Futon bedding is laid out on the tatami for you while you are at dinner.
