The tea room, which was a guest room originally built in the Meiji period and was originally a guest room for the Higo domain, was relocated and built.

It is a beautiful building with plenty of zelkova, where His Imperial Highness Prince Kanin stayed overnight.
The room consists of 3 rooms: a Japanese-style room, a hearth room, and a bedroom (2 semi-double beds). Please enjoy the free-flowing hot water in the cypress bath and open-air bath.
Enjoy the spacious and luxurious space where you can feel the breath of the good old days.
*The bed does not have a fall prevention rail, so it is not suitable if you have small children.
*AU signal is weak and cannot be used in the guest room. High-speed Wi-Fi has been upgraded throughout the building.

Hirayama Onsen is a sacred place for beautiful skin baths, and its melty skin baths
Please enjoy the in-room bath in your room, the cave bath/semi-open-air bath in the large communal bath, or at our sister restaurant Hana no Bandai.
We pay particular attention to the ingredients and tableware of our meals, and provide dishes that are a feast for the eyes.
 
 

*About the rice provided at our hotel*

Kumamoto's Kikuchi River basin is a little-known rice producing region that was designated as a "Japan Heritage" in 2017 with the theme of "rice cultivation." At our museum, the rice is grown in the Kikuka region of Yamaga, Kumamoto.

We use ``Kikuka rice'' which is specially shared with us by farmers.

We serve freshly cooked rice for both dinner and breakfast.

We have the famous "cave bath" and "semi-open-air bath."
The "rock bath" carved out of a monolith is only available in the women's bath.

*Children under preschool age are not allowed to enter or stay overnight. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as this is a quiet and relaxing inn. Children enrolled in elementary school can use this service.
