Japanese-Style Room, 8 Tatami — Renovated

A ground-floor room, partly renovated. It is about 13 steps from the entrance to the room. Most of Yugetsusanso is reached by stairs, so this type suits guests who would rather climb as little as possible.

This is not a full rebuild: the early-Showa wooden character has been kept, with the room tidied and freshened. It is plain rather than luxurious, and that is the point. Please note that with four guests, the room will feel quite tight. Futon bedding is laid out on the tatami for you while you are at dinner.
