Miyama-so Takamiya stands on the highest hill at the very end of Takayu Street in Zao Onsen Town.
This historic hot spring inn, founded nearly 300 years ago, promises a relaxing stay where you can escape the ordinary.

For dinner, we present the “Hana Kaiseki Banquet,” generously featuring the bountiful mountain delicacies of majestic Mount Zao.
The flavors of Yamagata, renowned for its abundant ingredients, and Zao, blessed with a favorable climate,
are crafted into visually splendid dishes using Takamiya's traditional cooking methods.

After savoring your meal, please relax and unwind in the healing waters of the renowned Zao Onsen hot springs.

■Please be sure to read this.■
This inn generally does not accept children under elementary school age (Hina-kura does not accept children under 10 years old).
There are approximately 20 stone steps leading up to the entrance, and vehicles cannot be driven up to the inn's front.
As this is a pure Japanese-style wooden building over 100 years old, there is no elevator inside the building.
